The film, “The Nature of Consciousness,” was an official selection of the Women’s Independent Film Festival in Los Angeles and earned the top award in the experimental category.

Department of Performing Arts faculty members presented on the recent Elon production of "Moment" by Dierdre Kinahan at this interdisciplinary food conference.

The renowned dance company performs work by choreographers such as Crystal Pite, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, Marco Goecke, Medhi Walerski, Hofesh Shechter, Sol León and Artistic Director Paul Lightfoot.

The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has awarded a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Theatre fellowship to Artemis Preeshl, assistant professor of performing arts.

Handspring Publishing has published a new textbook by Professor of Dance Laurent Kearns, "Somatics in Action: A Mindful and Physical Conditioning Tool for Movers." 

As part of the 2018 Coca-Cola and Regal Films student film competition, Elon students traveled to Atlanta in late January to produce a 35-second film, which is now available to watch online. And don’t forget to vote for Elon’s commercial in the Fan Favorite Award contest.

Assistant Professor Matt Pardo will perform with The Lucinda Childs Dance Company at Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart festival in July 2018. 

Through a staged reading, Department of Performing Arts students participated in the creation of a new play.

The Performing Arts Department presents Echoes, the spring dance concert, with performances March 9-11.

Twenty-three Elon Music Theatre alumni will be seen this spring on Broadway and on tour in hit shows like "Dear Evan Hansen," "Hamilton," "Wicked," and "The Book of Mormon," and in brand-new musicals coming to Broadway like "Mean Girls," "Head Over Heels," and "Summer: The Donna Summer Musical."
