The $500,000 gift honors Wayne's late brother, Fletcher Moore '34, a longtime music faculty member at Elon.

The accomplished Elon performing arts alumna has the starring role in the new holiday movie that aired Sunday, Nov. 27, on Hallmark Channel.

Directed by Julio Matos, associate professor of performing arts, "Movin' On" is a humorous and compelling look at the lives of six successful Broadway performers trying to sing and dance their way out of the chorus line.

Several Elon Music and Performing Arts students competed at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition this past weekend and received top honors.

The inaugural Discover Dance with Elon event took place Saturday, Nov. 13 and provided North Carolina high school students with the opportunity to learn several types of dance forms.
