The associate professor of English was honored for a paper published in the September 2012 issue of Business Communication Quarterly and for her overall contributions to the mission and membership of the association.

Jessie Moore and Paula Rosinski, associate professors of professional writing and rhetoric in the Department of English, collaborated with researchers from the University of Central Florida, Michigan State University, University of Texas at El Paso, and Kenyon College on a research article about students' writing lives.

Rebecca Pope-Ruark, associate professor of English, earned two awards at the international Association for Business Communication (ABC) conference in New Orleans in late October.

The Association for Business Communication presented the associate professor of English with two awards during its recent conference in New Orleans.

Jessie L. Moore, Peter Felten, and Michael Strickland contributed a chapter on Elon University's Faculty Writing Residencies to a new edited collection. "Supporting a Culture of Writing: Faculty Writing Residencies as a WAC Initiative" describes the annual writing residency that the authors launched in 2006. 

Elon University students, faculty and staff visited the center on the first floor of Belk Library to learn more about support and services available to the campus community.

A writer and photographer, Aaron Bardo '09 is participating in a worldwide competition for a chance to earn $100,000 and spend a year traveling and exploring the world on behalf of Jauntaroo.
