Elon's Huemanity of People project highlights sensational members of the Elon community who demonstrate inclusive excellence.

The home designed and built by students, one of six constructed in the EcoVillage at Loy Farm’s first phase, involved more than 60 students over the course of an academic year and yielded lessons students will carry into their futures.

Nearly 1,700 new students including the Class of 2028 and transfer students, gathered Under the Oaks on Aug. 24 for New Student Convocation – the beginning of their Elon journey.

More than 1,600 first year students and over 70 transfer students arrived to Elon University on Aug. 23 excited for new experiences in their new home.

Nearly 50 students participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, a unique opportunity where the topics are diverse, along with the personal stories behind them.

Members of the world-renowned dance company Urban Bush Women provided inspiring workshops for performing arts students during the spring 2024 semester.

Through practical strategies emphasizing recognition of humanity, collaborative learning and advocacy for unique needs, Nermin Vehabovic and Cherrel Miller Dyce offer guidance to educators on creating supportive spaces for individuals from refugee backgrounds in their recent paper published in Midwest Journal of Education.

The gift from Elon parents Michael and Marissa McDonnell P’24 will support the university’s new facility to address the holistic health and well-being of students, faculty and staff.

The projects and programs span disciplines and include opportunities for community engagement, cross-cultural dialogue and interaction with Elon alumni.

Four members of the Class of 2024 and one member of the Class of 2023 have been selected for the prestigious program that offers opportunities for recent graduates in more than 140 countries. Five have been selected as alternates.
