During its annual awards ceremony, hosted May 5 in Turner Theatre, the school acknowledged high achievement from students, faculty and staff, hosted the first induction of its Kappa Tau Alpha honors society, and bid farewell to retiring Associate Professor Michael Skube.

A generous scholarship gift from alumna and Univision News Anchor Maity Interiano ’07 will assist students in Elon’s School of Communications. Her gift is part of the Elon LEADS Campaign.

In conjunction with the Student Professional Development Center, the School of Communications hosted the COM Meet and Greet on Feb. 22, attracting seven organizations representing a variety of communications-related industries.

Hassol, award-winning climate change communicator, will speak at Elon University on April 19 at 7:30 pm in McKinnon Hall.
