After an extensive national search, campus leaders have announced that Jodean Schmiederer will join Elon University as its new assistant dean of students, with overall responsibility for the Moseley Campus Center, Greek Life, Student Judicial Affairs, Student Activities, Summer Conferences, and Family Weekend.

The 2008 Faculty Assisting New Students (F.A.N.S.) have been announced: Earl Danieley, Janna Anderson, Andi Metts, Chris Leupold, Paula Patch, Glenn Scott and Amanda Tapler.
