This message from Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley sent March 12 offers information about the current status of coronavirus and travel plans, parking during Spring Break, remaining on campus during Spring Break and campus services during Spring Break.

The annual effort by Elon students, faculty and staff generates support for cancer research and those battling the disease. This year’s effort raised nearly $80,000.

John Varney ’23 of Washington, D.C., has died of complications from osteosarcoma. A Gathering of Friends in memory of Varney is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at 7 p.m. in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion.
