Student Professional Development Center (Career Services)

A new program to help Elon students make smart job search decisions based on geographical preference, all while connecting them with alumni and other professionals, was recently cited as a best practices model at the National Association of Colleges and Employers annual conference in Las Vegas.

Three Elon undergraduate students and two Elon law students have been selected for 10-week summer internships with various North Carolina state agencies. The N.C. State Government Internship Program, in its 39th year, is coordinated by the Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office in the Department of Administration.

More than 100 students joined the Career Services staff by Fonville Fountain on Thursday, April 30, for the Career Carnival.

K-12 school representatives gathered in Moseley Center on March 19 to meet and interview prospective teachers for professional positions at the Elon University Teacher Fair.

Elon Career Services will host the annual Career & Grad School Fair on Tuesday, March 10, from 1-4 p.m. in Alumni Gym. About 75 employers and grad schools are expected. All students and alumni are encouraged to attend.
