The Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Candler School of Theology at Emory University visits campus Monday for a 7 p.m. talk sponsored by Study USA. The program is free and open to the public.

Elon University's Watson & Odyssey Scholars Program and the Study USA office co-sponsored a "Fake Break" program in late January for students to visit with corporate foundation offices at Coca-Cola, Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, the International Rescue Committee and more.

More than $80,000 was awarded in scholarship assistance this fall as hundreds of Elon University students participate in semester study abroad programs that have seen strong growth in recent years.

The deadline for all Winter Term applications is quickly approaching. To be considered for open programs, students must have application submitted by Monday, Sept. 8.

The Elon in Los Angeles program had its culminating event on July 30, 2014.

Mark Dalhouse, the new director of the Study USA program in the Global Education Center, joined Elon colleagues Pam and Chalmers Brumbaugh in late June to visit 16 students interning this summer in the nation's capital.

The seventh annual Elon in Los Angeles summer program kicked off May 31.
