The annual conference brought together educators at Elon and online to explore how teaching today can prepare students with the skills and adaptability they need for the future.

Seventy-four faculty members used dedicated time, hands-on practice and support from Teaching and Learning Technologies to prepare their courses and consider how students will experience learning in Canvas this fall. 

Planning is underway for a transition to Canvas during the 2026–27 academic year, guided by a deliberate approach focused on training and support needs for the campus community.

As faculty fellow for technology, Eric Bauer is using one-on-one faculty interviews to surface real teaching needs and help bridge the gap between academic experience and campus technology strategy.
