Teaching and Learning Technologies staff members, Dan Reis and Michael Vaughn, represent Elon's Maker Hub at two international conferences and share the important role making can play in education.

The Center for Writing Excellence and Teaching and Learning Technologies is pairing up for a winter-term workshop focused on writing. If you’re planning to assign writing this winter or spring and would like to use Moodle to streamline your feedback/grading process, please consider joining us.

The maker hub, the university's second, features a new variety of tools for makers along with twice the space as Elon's first maker hub in Colonnades. 

The new space on the third floor of Elon Town Center on North Williamson Avenue is hosting an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24. 

The annual Teaching & Learning Conference hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning and Teaching and Learning Technologies at Elon drew hundreds of professors from around the state. 

Alamance County's Science Cafe holds programs on the second Tuesday of each month (September - December) at Fat Frogg Bar & Grill, Elon starting at 7 p.m. Drop in, no ticket required. 

Elon students and faculty shared projects on April 26 at the Maker Takeover in Moseley Center.
