The students shared their Honors thesis work during the association’s annual conference.

The article, “Eisenstein polynomials defining cyclic p-adic fields with minimal wild ramification” appears in a recent issue of the JP Journal of Algebra, Number Theory and Applications.

Chance’s research involves developing materials and conditions that would lead to thermionic energy conversion. He is a dual-degree engineering physics major and will transfer to a partner school next fall to complete his degrees.

With colleagues at AAC&U and Purdue University, Vandermaas-Peeler co-facilitated a workshop on mentoring undergraduate research in global contexts at the WISE conference sponsored by Wake Forest University.

The article is the third joint publication by Westerberg and Vandermaas-Peeler based on Westerberg's undergraduate research at Elon.

The $7,500 Leadership Prize supports sustained, mentored and community-based research projects undertaken by Elon undergraduates.

The online study aims to understand parent beliefs about infant motor development and the impact on infants’ motor behaviors. Eligible participants are first-time parents of infants aged 1-7 months living anywhere in the USA.
