Seven Elon professors are part of a larger effort funded by the Teagle Foundation to study new classroom approaches to the humanities with an emphasis on engaged learning.

Admission is free and open to the public. All films will be in Spanish with English subtitles.

The assistant professor of French presented research on short-term study abroad programs and intercultural competence at the annual convention in May. Her article, "Preparing Undergraduates for Research Projects in Faculty-led Short-term Study Abroad Courses," appears in the Winter 2014 issue of CUR Quarterly.

Dr. Olivia Choplin, an assistant professor of French, has published an article in The American Review of Canadian Studies, Vol. 44, Issue 1, 2014.
