Supporters of Elon University School of Law gathered March 17 for a special luncheon to recognize the collective efforts of community, civic, and philanthropic leaders who helped launch "a law school with a difference."

The Piedmont-Triad Branch of the council presented the university with its "A Green Apple a Day" award.

Elon University sophomore Alex Mancuso and senior Ben Lutz have received Critical Language Scholarships from the federal government to study Arabic.  

The Elon University women's basketball team will take on West Virginia University on Friday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m. in College Park, Maryland. 

The publication's annual basketball bracket is based on the academic success of the teams in the NCAA Division I tournament.

The Phoenix held strong for a convincing 78-60 win over James Madison University in the CAA women’s basketball tournament. The next stop is the NCAA's big dance.

This funding supports efforts on the development of next generation X-ray diffraction imaging systems relying on X-ray scattering rather than X-ray attenuation for baggage item identification.

Elon will also host Pulitzer Prize-winning author and oncologist Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, psychologist and author Angela Duckworth and Wes Moore, author, social entrepreneur and motivational leader, during the upcoming academic year.

Professor Steve Friedland’s appointment as associate dean for innovation in engaged learning in law will help Elon Law continue to identify and promote better ways to prepare today’s students to serve as leaders in the legal profession.
