Elon students finalists in Sprite Refreshing Films™ contest

Two Elon University students had their original screenplays selected to be produced and filmed as part of the nationwide Sprite Refreshing Films™ contest, a program "that gives future moviemakers a chance to create real films with industry pros and celebrities." Eleven additional Elon students were also selected to serve as staff interns.

RecycleMania 2011 kicks off at College Coffee

RecycleMania returns to Elon this month for the university’s fifth year taking part in a recycling competition involving hundreds of colleges and universities across the nation, including 19 institutions of higher learning in the state of North Carolina. New this year is an Elon campus contest where students spotted recycling at certain times of the week can win extra Phoenix cash for their efforts.
