ZOMGamefest a resounding success

The officers of the Elon chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) would like to congratulate the winners of the first ZOMGamefest, held Nov. 3, 2007, at 9:30 p.m. in Belk Library.

The event - which combined tournaments in Halo, Quake, and Wii Bowling with free play on Tron, Guitar Hero 3, and a variety of board games - was a resounding success with 130 attendees, free food and drinks, tournament prizes and door prizes from local retailers and high-tech companies, and - of course - lots of gaming madness.

Look for the Spring 2008 edition of ZOMGamefest next semester, and start practicing your best moves now.
