| Lincoln PreMedical Society The Lincoln PreMedical Society was organized to help students who wish to attend medical school and other health profession schools, such as dental school and veterinary school. The society also includes students who have interests in physical therapy and physician assistant programs. We meet regularly to discuss such topics as the medical school application process, how to write a personal statement, how to interview successfully and how to establish internships with a health professions mentor. We also invite a number of health care professionals to speak to our group, and we have rotating spring field trips to Wake Forest University School of Medicine, the Duke University School of Medicine, and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Important Testing Dates Medical College Admissions Test This test is given in April and August. Graduate Record Exam The general and subject tests are usually given in November, December and April. The computerized test is usually given during the first three weeks of each month. You need to wait 30 days before retaking the computerized test. Dental Admissions Test This test is given in April and October. Pharmacy College Admissions Test These tests are usually given in January and April. Veterinary College Admissions Test These tests are usually given in September, November and January.
