America's Most Wanted profiles Elon alum disappearance

The case of a missing Elon alumnus whose 2007 disappearance drew national media attention will be featured again this week in a segment of America’s Most Wanted.

Kyle Fleischmann ’06 vanished on Nov. 9, 2007, after a night out with friends in Charlotte, N.C. Fleischmann, now 25, was a business administration management student at Elon and served as an officer in the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He also volunteered time during his studies to assist Special Olympics, the Boys & Girls Club and Safe Rides.

Elon alumni and students organized searches and held prayer vigils in the hopes of quickly finding their friend. Authorities have yet to locate him.

In addition to sharing details of the disappearance, America’s Most Wanted will showcase the efforts of The Kyle Fleischmann Foundation to publicize the case and help with the search.

The program airs at 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, on Fox affiliates.
