Authority
Authority granted by the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office for Company Police Officer Commission under the provision of Chapter 74-E of the North Carolina General Statue and Title 12 of the North Carolina Administrative Code.


Certification
Certification means the authority granted by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission to those officers who meet the requirements as a sworn law enforcement officer pursuant to Title 12, Chapter 9B of the North Carolina Administrative Code.


Jurisdiction
Elon University Police Department enforces the laws of the State of North Carolina. The University Police Department has a Mutual Aid Agreement with all the police agencies in Alamance County.
