Visitors and Guests

University visitors and guests can park in designated visitor parking spaces in the Oaks parking lot, McMichael East lot, or the Innovation Quad lot.  In order to utilize these visitor parking spaces, you must obtain a visitor parking permit through the parking office located at Campus Safety and Police – Oaks McCoy Commons, 416 N. Williamson Avenue, Elon, NC 27244.  The Inman Admissions Lot is for Admissions Visitors only coordinated through the Admissions Office.

Faculty, Staff, and Students

All faculty, staff, and students who wish to park on campus must register for a parking permit. Each permit includes letters that show your designated lots and can be found on the University’s campus parking map.

Low-emitting vehicle (LEV)

LEV designated parking spaces are for vehicles with a LEV permit ONLY.

Student “LEV” permits are available to CS, GN, KB, and MP permits, but may ONLY park in their designated parking lots. Students with LEV permits are not allowed to park in the Faculty/Staff LEV spaces, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

There are several low-emitting vehicle (LEV) parking spaces throughout campus. LEV’s include non-hybrid models. They have been classified as Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) by the California Air Resources Board or have achieved a minimum green score of 40 on the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) annual vehicle rating guide. To learn more about LEVs and to find out if you drive one visit www.greenercars.org.  An “LEV” permit is required to park in these spaces and can be obtained from the Traffic Office.

Designated spaces are for registered vehicles with valid permit displayed.

All vehicles MUST be moved from these parking lots on game days by 8:00 a.m.:

  • Ingold/Rhodes Stadium lot
  • Barnes lot
  • Koury/Fine Arts Parking lot
  • Inman Admissions lot
