The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive tour designed to examine the scope and impact of oppression on multiple groups. Individuals tour various campus locations to examine oppression first-hand. The goal is to capture the images, voices, and feelings of the oppressed to raise awareness of global oppression. The program challenges students, faculty, and staff to address their own biases, misconceptions, preconceived notions, stereotypes, and prejudices. Ultimately, the Tunnel of Oppression attempts to examine and fracture the barrier that divides those who are victims of oppression from those who are not.
