Elon Day began in 2014 as part of the university’s 125th anniversary celebration. Since then, Elon Day’s momentum and impact have grown year after year. Last year, donors made history with 5,370 gifts totaling more than $18 million. Elon Day gifts of all sizes and designations will count toward this year’s total.

“At its core, Elon Day is an opportunity for the Elon community to come together and create a lasting impact on current and future students,” said John H. Barnhill ’92, associate vice president for university advancement. “The driving force behind Elon Day is the belief our partners, advocates and investors have in the university. Together, Elon can and will continue to provide opportunities for students.”

The Elon community can participate in Elon Day events on campus and around the world.

On-campus events include a special College Coffee starting at 9:40 a.m. in Alumni Gym (note the updated location). The senior class giving committee will host the Senior Toast at 7:30 p.m. in Lakeside Meeting Rooms and from 8 to 11 p.m., all students are invited to attend the Elon Day Mardi Party in Moseley Center. Attendees are invited to watch a fireworks show on Iconic Plaza at 8:30 p.m.

In addition, Elon Day events will take place in 38 cities around the world. These events will bring the momentum of the day directly to the Elon alumni network. To see a complete list of Elon Day events, visit elon.edu/u/elon-day/events/.
