CWE Workshop "Writing in the Finance Curriculum: Teaching Students to Write to Clients, Associates, and Professors"
Assistant Professor Kate Upton and Assistant Professor Adam Aiken will discuss how they incorporated writing-intensive projects into upper-level financial courses. They will share how they integrated best practices, such as scaffolding writing assignments and using low-stakes writing, into projects that ask students to synthesize data and write for different audiences.
This event is open to all Elon University faculty and staff and will be held Monday, April 15, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Lakeside 214. Lunch will be served. so please register.
