Are you a senior interested in moving to Los Angeles after graduation to begin your career? The bridges to LA program can help you make the transition from college to career a smooth one.
As a part of the program, recent graduates participating will:
• Live in apartment-style housing for the duration of the program
• Participate in a week-long intensive seminar series focused on job search strategies, personal finance skills, relocation information and alumni and professional networking
• Connect with alumni mentors who can ease the personal and professional transition to life in the city
• Have scheduled and on-request individual career advising services with an on-site Career Advisor to assist them with their job search
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in scheduled events such as tours of the city, museums, show tapings, movie nights, and sporting events to help them acclimate to the city and become part of their new community. bridges is open to recent graduates from ALL majors and will run from June 1, 2013 until August 3, 2013.
