Jules Levanti '25

Jules Levanti

Major: Astrophysics

Hometown: Ronkonkoma, New York

Elon’s first and only NC Space Grant Undergraduate Research Scholar, investigating dwarf galaxies and black holes, Jules is planning for a career in astrophysics and astronomy. Jules attended multiple conferences through the grant. Since her first year, she has worked at the Technology Service Desk and she joined Phi Eta Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Societies. She was also an Elon 1010 Peer Educator, a teaching assistant for Introduction to Astronomy and a member of Sigma Pi Sigma, the physics and astronomy honor society. She has also co-authored a publication and is writing her own publication. She will pursue her doctorate in astronomy and astrophysics at the University of Texas at Austin, a top-15 astronomy program in the U.S.

Christophe Robert “Robby” '25

Christophe Robert “Robby”

Major: Philosophy

Hometown: Dover, Massachusetts

Robby originally enrolled as a business major but a philosophy course sparked a new interest. Guided by faculty mentorship, including an independent study with Lauren Guilmette, associate professor of philosophy, he immersed himself in the discipline and its big questions. He enrolled in Elon’s Study USA Program and participated in the New York program, combining classroom learning with real-world exploration. He was accepted to a Teaching Assistant Program in France, where he will teach English for seven months in the country.

Victory Moore '25

Victory Moore

Major: Biology

Hometown: Garner, North Carolina

Victory arrived at Elon with ambitious dreams, beginning her journey to a doctorate in cancer genetics with the goal of founding her own cancer research lab. Starting in her first weeks on campus, Victory leveraged connections with staff at the Student Professional Development Center and faculty in the Department of Biology to advance her research skills in summer programs at the UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology and the National Institutes of Health. Victory is applying to post-baccalaureate programs in cancer biology and cancer genetics at Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the NIH.

Carter Stoke '25

Carter Stoke

Major: Exercise Science

Hometown: Clayton, North Carolina

Carter studied the impact of high theacrine doses and how they influence cardiovascular function, enhance cognitive abilities and alter stress response. His research highlights the potential of theacrine as a mental and performance enhancer with specific psychological impacts. Carter was the recipient of the 2024 Undergraduate Research Award from North Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities. Carter was a 2023 recipient of the Lumen Prize, Elon’s top prize for undergraduate research and the Satellite Facilities Programs Team Leader with Campus Recreation and Wellness.

Nicole Bazos '25

Nicole Bazos

Major: Music Production and Recording Arts

Hometown: Pound Ridge, New York

Nicole plans a career in music recording and engineering and credits Elon for providing her a solid foundation. She placed third in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Commercial Music Competition. Nicole was selected for a highly competitive internship at Universal Music Group’s Republic Studios. Nicole impressed representatives there with her technical knowledge and professionalism. While at Elon, Nicole recorded her own projects in the Arts West studios, performed with the band Thistle Ridge, played in ensembles and represented programs as an Elon Music Ambassador.

Nicholas Rugbart '25

Nicholas Rugbart

Major: International and Global Studies

Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Nicholas, an Elon College Fellow, studied abroad in Taiwan and the United Kingdom in his pursuit of fluency in Mandarin. In his sophomore year, he was awarded the Boren Undergraduate Scholarship to study abroad in Taiwan. He was selected for the Fulbright U.K. Summer Institute. He was also a semifinalist for the U.S. Student Fulbright Program to study in Taiwan. After earning post-graduate degrees, he aims to advance diplomacy and international security through a career with the U.S. Department of State.

Charlotte Dagli '25

Charlotte Dagli

Major: Biology

Hometown: Charlottesville, Virginia

Charlotte spent two years working in the Laboratory of Virus Evolution & Antiviral Immunity lab with Assistant Professor of Biology Efrain Rivera-Serrano, researching the use of viruses to target and kill specific cancer cells. She had the opportunity to present this research at the Annual Immunology Meeting in Hawaii. She also worked to enhance Reovirales oncolytic capacity in malignant fibrosarcoma cells via targeted viral evolution and combination therapies. Charlotte was a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Undergraduate Research Award from North Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities.

Kelli Geiger '25

Kelli Geiger

Major: Acting

Hometown: Amityville, New York

Expect to see more of acting major Kelli Geiger. After wowing audiences in “Legally Blonde: The Musical” and other Department of Performing Arts productions, Kelli has her sights set on an acting career. She studied abroad in London at the Theatre Academy of London, an experience she says “changed my world” by broadening her stage and acting skills. Beyond acting, she plans to sharpen her comedic writing skills while working with improv groups in the Big Apple.
