About Interactive Media Bootcamp
While there aren’t any push-ups or marching drills involved, the bootcamp is an intensive and transformative academic experience. Interactive Media students come from many backgrounds, representing a very wide diversity of undergraduate majors, professional experience, and comfort levels with the technologies of design and production. Across two weeks of full-time workdays and multiple instructors, students are quickly brought up to speed with the principles, tools and technologies needed for success in the program. While some familiarity with design, code or media production will be helpful, the program recognizes that our students have widely different levels of experience and comfort in these areas. Students work hard and have fun, and finish with new skills, new friends and a readiness to meet the challenges of the fall semester.
