Financing the Physician Assistant Studies Program

Program Costs

Direct Charges

Direct charges include tuition and fees. Tuition for the PA program for the 2027 term (January 1 through December 31, 2027) is set at $63,464 and a health service fee of $215.

Indirect Charges

Indirect charges include additional expenses that are not charged by the university and that will vary from student to student such as rent and utilities, meals, books, supplies, transportation and miscellaneous personal expenses. In determining a student’s eligibility for student loans and any other financial aid, the university establishes an estimated Cost of Attendance (COA) of the first year of the PA program to include direct and indirect charges.

Please note, all students are required to provide proof of health insurance and maintain current insurance information on file. Elon University offers a student health insurance policy, Student Blue Plan, through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. The cost of health insurance for 2026-2027 is $3,963. Information about insurance requirements will be communicated directly with all accepted students prior to matriculation.
