Loyal Alumni Celebrations exist to honor and thank alumni who give annually to Elon and/or serve on leadership boards or councils. The event immediately follows the main Elon LEADS event program and includes additional hours of hosted bars, hors d’oeuvres, photobooths and fun with fellow alumni donors. There is no need to register separately from the main event; entry tickets will be provided at check-in for the Elon LEADS event. Alumni who have yet to make a gift this fiscal year can do so in advance of or during the event to receive a ticket for entry.

Q: Do I have to register for the Loyal Alumni Celebration separately from the Elon LEADS event?
A: Nope! As long as you are registered for the Elon LEADS event, you are all set. Your ticket for entry will be with your nametag at check-in.
Q: I have a recurring gift set up. Do I need to make another gift?
A: Any alum who has made a gift to Elon since June 1, 2022, is invited to attend. This includes recurring gifts and one-time gifts.
Q: Do I need to show proof of my gift to get in the door?
A: If you make a gift prior to the event, you will receive a ticket for entry in your nametag at check-in for the main event. If you make a gift during the event, you will need to have your emailed gift receipt or Venmo transaction ready to show as you walk into the Loyal Alumni Celebration.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: If your guest is an alum, they will also need to be a donor to be invited to attend. If your guest did not attend Elon, they are more than welcome to enter the Loyal Alumni Celebration with you.
Q: Is there a minimum gift amount?
A: We encourage a gift of your class year (e.g., $20.19) to a fund that is meaningful to you, but can accept gifts of any size to any designation.
Q: Can I make a gift there?
A: Your entry into the event will be faster if you make a gift in advance, but we can also accept cash, cards, or checks at the door. We can also accept gifts made on Venmo.
