Health and well-being can be integrated into many aspects of campus life, from meetings and classrooms to retreats, workshops and events. Small, intentional activities can foster connection, encourage reflection, support learning and create opportunities to engage with different dimensions of well-being.

This page features activities, tools and resources that faculty, staff and student leaders can incorporate into their programs and gatherings. These adaptable activities can be used to spark conversation, build community, encourage reflection and support well-being across a variety of settings.

Identifying Core Values

Help individuals reflect on what matters most to them through a guided values exploration activity. HealthEU offers Live Your Values card decks that can be used in classes, meetings, retreats and workshops to encourage self-reflection and meaningful conversation.

Each deck contains 78 value cards that help participants identify and prioritize the principles that guide their decisions, behaviors and goals. This activity supports purpose well-being while strengthening social connections through shared reflection and discussion.

When borrowing a card deck, you’ll receive a facilitator guide with activity instructions and discussion prompts. This activity is best suited for groups of 3–20 participants.

Lego®

Lego® bricks provide a hands-on way to encourage mindfulness, creativity, collaboration and reflection. Whether used as a quick meeting activity, team-building exercise or classroom discussion prompt, Lego® activities help participants learn, connect and engage through play.

HealthEU offers a variety of Lego® sets that can be adapted for different goals and group sizes. Participants may use Lego® bricks to explore personal values, envision future goals, practice mindfulness, solve problems collaboratively or simply take a creative break during a busy day.

Some sets include instructions for specific builds, while others contain assorted bricks designed for open-ended creativity and exploration.
