ELON COLLEGE – The Office of College Relations at Elon College recently won several awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education District III, a nine-state region in the Southeast.
Elon’s web site and home page each won Awards of Excellence. The site was redesigned last year by Eric Cone, webmaster, Daniel Anderson, director of college relations, and Carolyn Nelson, director of design.
The internal newsletter, Second Monday, won an Award of Excellence, its second consecutive award. It is edited by Alice Shelton, director of news services, and designed by Christie Henry, assistant director of design.
Jaleh Hagigh, director of editorial projects, won an award of merit for a feature story that appeared in the Magazine of Elon, the alumni magazine, on a student’s recovery from injuries sustained in a commuter airplane crash.
