ELON COLLEGE – Charles H. Sparks Jr. of Burlington has earned the certified mail manager designation from the International Publishing Management Association.
Sparks is the mail services supervisor for Elon College, where he has worked since 1986. He is a graduate of Mars Hill College.
The certification program establishes a professional standard of proficiency for the corporate mail management profession. Certification is achieved through demonstrated management experience, professionalism and successful completion of a comprehensive examination. IPMA is a professional association for managers of in-house/corporate graphics, publishing, printing and mail departments for educational institutions, governments and private industry.
