Preregistration begins April 14

Preregistration materials have been delivered to advisors. Students should begin scheduling appointments with advisors to discuss their classes, and to pick up their enrollment form along with a “PREREGISTRATION SCHEDULE AND ONTRACK INFORMATION” brochure. Advisors will electronically authorize students to have access to the registration Web site. Students who are unsure of their academic advisor of record should contact the Academic Advising Center in Duke 108 for this information. Only the advisor of record can give the authorization. Without this authorization, students can not preregister.

All students will be preregistering for Summer and Fall classes electronically via OnTrack. An understanding of OnTrack will be necessary to preregister. The Academic Technology Center, Belk 115, will be advertising workshops regarding OnTrack and conducting information sessions for students taking summer online courses. You may also refer to the OnTrack help page or the OnTrack Information Brochure for instructions.

I strongly urge all students to meet with their advisors as soon as possible. Students need to be prepared to enter classes via OnTrack when their scheduled time arrives. Looking for an advisor to grant approval, at the very last moment, will cause problems and delay preregistration.

I want to wish you the best as you begin the preregistration process. If you have questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact my office.
