The Periclean Scholars class of 2006 is hosting Philippe Talavera, documentary filmmaker and leading HIV/AIDS activist in Namibia, Africa, on Elon’s campus. During his visit Philippe will give special presentations for many groups on campus including Global Studies students and School of Communications students. He will also host an event for the entire Elon and Alamance County community on October 26 in Whitley auditorium at 7pm.
Philippe offers hope and insight in the fight against this terrible disease that is crippling a whole continent.
