Monday, December 1st is World AIDS Day, and the Periclean Scholars have organized some great activities.
Book Drive: We are collecting any used books to send to students in Namibia, Africa who are learning English. When you are home for Thanksgiving, please look to see if you have any old Hardy Boys or Babysitters’ Club books, for example, and bring them plus a dollar for shipping to our Table in Mosely.
Candlelight Vigil: At 6:15pm on Dec 1st, please gather in front of Moseley for a candlelight vigil in respect for the millions of people infected with HIV/AIDS.
