The Performing Arts Department of Dance will showcase dance technique classes in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz on Tuesday, May 11 from 7-8 p.m. in Studio A (the large studio), Koury Center.
Admission is free and open to the public.
“The dance program at Elon has been growing tremendously in the past couple of years,” says Shouze Ma, assistant professor of dance and dance coordinator.
Dance majors are admitted by audition only. The program has 22 dance majors, 37 dance minors and more than 600 students took dance classes during the 2003-2004 academic year. The Elon dance program was represented at the American College Dance Festival in March and is a member of ACDFA.
