Shack-A-Thon results from Wednesday, Nov. 10

About 24 organizations came out to help support Habitat for Humanity on Wednesday, Nov. 10. The groups and organizations built shacks made out of wood, cardboard, and any other materials they could find, such as plastic bottles, banners and cloth.

This event, sponsored by Elon Habitat for Humanity, was to help make Elon students more aware of poverty in the local area and around the globe. There were Habitat speakers in The Zone Wednesday evening along with a closing a capella song by Chris Hendricks and candlelight vigil. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the cause and participate in our annual Shack-A-Thon this year.
