The 2005 Sportsfest included over 300 students competing in eleven events in one evening on Sept. 9. The afternoon started with all thirty teams competing in the Tug-of-War competition on the new Club Sport fields. Included in this year’s Sportsfest events were the longest drive, putting contest, flag football, dodgeball, yahtzee, basketball, and sand volleyball. Teams received points for including facutly/staff, TA’s, Orientation Leaders, RA’s, and spirit.
Taking the title were the Hot Tamales from North area with 390 points.
Second place was claimed by the Nocturtles II from East area with 380 points.
Third place went to ATIT from Danieley Center area with 320 points.
