Bird Stasz, associate professor of education, and Kim Eke, senior instructional designer, presented “Crossing the Digital Divide: A Case Study of Uzbekistan” at the Georgia Conference on Information Literacy at Georgia Southern University, Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The presentation summarized the UZ basic education project, focusing on the ways technologies were used to span space and time in developing educational materials collaboratively with educators in Uzbekistan.
