The Elon University Chorale will present a musical tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, titled “Lest We Forget,” at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts on campus. Veterans and their families are invited to attend. The program is free and open to the public.
The featured work of the concert will be the Ralph Vaughan Williams “Dona nobis pacem.” Guest soloists will be Jessica Van Ord, soprano, and Timothy Hill, baritone. The concert will include a special gues appearance by retired U.S. Air Force Chaplain Col. John Truitt, Jr., an Elon alumnus, a presentation of the colors by the Elon University ROTC Color Guard. The chorale will be accompanied with full orchestra and a special pictorial montage will be presented.
