Peter Felten, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, presented twice at the October 27-30 POD Network conference in Milwaukee. His papers, co-authored with colleagues from Vanderbilt and Ohio State respectively, focused on peer mentoring in undergraduate research and on new approaches to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Felten also was named program co-chair, with Therese Huston from Seattle University, for the 2006 POD conference in Portland, Oregon.
The POD Network is an international association dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning in higher education. Many POD people are faculty or staff in university teaching centers.
