Class of 2009 Textbook Grants

Do you need money to help pay for your textbooks? The Freshmen Class Acorn Society is raising money to support fellow classmates who need financial assistance for purchasing textbooks. All members of the Class of 2009 are eligible to apply!

In order to apply you must submit an essay by April 28, 2006. You must also submit a list of the classes you intend to take in the fall. The size of the grants awarded will be determined by the number of donations. All essays will be kept confidential. Write your name only on the back page of your essay. You do not have to be an Acorn Society member to apply.

Requirements:

Member of the Class of 2009

Full-time student

Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.

Submit your fall 2006 list of classes.

Essay: Please explain why you think you are deserving of this grant from The Acorn Society. Avoid using your last name in the essay in order to maintain anonymity.
