After experiencing two years as a petitioning chapter, Elon University’s Beta Alpha Psi was officially installed on Tuesday, April 11th as the Lambda Xi Chapter. The event was held at Alamance Country Club, and in attendance were the chapter’s charter members, associate members and honorary members. Dean Burbridge, the faculty of the Department of Accounting, and several members of the Accounting Advisory Board also attended the event and joined in celebrating the momentous occasion.
Donna Street, the past National Beta Alpha Psi President, and Charles Alvis, the chapter’s Regional Director, administered the installation ceremony; 54 charter members and 5 honorary members were initiated. This distinguished honor is a great accomplishment for both our Business School and the Department of Accounting and Finance.
