Elon relief efforts for Eastern Guilford High School

Eastern Guilford High School, about five miles from the Elon campus, was destroyed by fire Nov. 1, leaving 1,060 students without a school for the rest of the year. The university has begun relief efforts to assist the school's students and staff. Details...

Elon’s Office of School Outreach Programs is in communication with the Guilford County School officials, who indicate their immediate needs to be cash donations and school supplies.

A drop-box is now at the Moseley Campus Center desk for cash donations, all of which will be given to the school. Donations may also be made at Rhodes Stadium during the Nov. 4 game. If you would like to staff a table for part of the game, please reply to this email. Donations may also be made to any BB & T bank in Greensboro and Burlington.

The Kernodle Center for Service Learning will be collecting monetary donations and basic school supplies (paper, pens, pencils, calculators, and computers) starting Monday. Please drop off donations and supplies between 8-5 at the Kernodle Center, 230 Moseley.
