Sign up to work as an interviewer for the Elon University Poll.
You make $6.50 per hour & we feed you (all the pizza you can eat during dinner break) – what a deal! You don’t need experience — we pay you while we train you during the times you work (during your shift). We also award two $25 MasterCard gift card prizes each night.
We are conducting our first poll of the semester from Sunday, Feb. 18, through Thursday, Feb. 22. We poll from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday. You can also sign-up as an alternate. Alternates are expected to be there as we use alternates to replace those students that do not show up. We also use walk-ins during the week of the poll. Walk-ins simply arrive 10 minutes before we begin (at 5pm) and work if we have any empty polling stations. We tend to use several alternates and walk-ins during each poll.
Sign-up sheets are available in the Lobby of the Political Science department, which is located on the first floor of Gray Pavilion. Gray Pavilion is part of the Academic Pavilions that are located near the tennis courts. Sign-up sheets (notebooks) are on the right as you enter the building.
