Jeffrey Coker, assistant professor of biology, coordinated the Plant Biology Education Booth at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in San Francisco, Calif. Other participants at the booth included scientists from the University of California at Berkeley, Mendel Biotechnology, and the American Society of Plant Biologists. Around 2,000 people visited the booth, including about 1,000 kids from the San Francisco area.
