Student handbook – Important information

Attention Students:

The Elon University Student Handbook serves as a valuable resource for students regarding information about the Honor Code, expectations for student behaviors, and consequences of violating the Honor Code and campus polices.  New and returning student should read the Academic Affairs, Judicial Affairs/Honor Code, and Campus Polices sections of the Handbook, as they provide very important information about rules, regulations and policies regarding student behaviors. There have been substantial changes in many of those sections and all students will want to be familiar with them. As an Elon Student, you are expected to be aware of and abide by these policies and are accountable for your behaviors on and off campus.

The 2007-2008 Student Handbook is available on line at http://www.elon.edu/e-web/students/handbook/#sga   and copies are on reserve in Belk Library, the Residence Life Area Offices, and the Office of Student Development (Mosley 206). Students can also request a copy of the sections that pertain to the Academic Affairs, Judicial Affairs/Honor Code, and Campus Policies sections of the Student Handbook by contacting the Office of Student Development at ratliff@elon.edu. A copy of these sections will be forwarded to your campus box upon your request.

The Student Handbook also contains valuable information regarding campus offices and services. These sections are updated regularly. If you have any questions about the Elon University Student Handbook, please contact me at (336) 278-7200.

Best wishes for a great year!

Sincerely,

Jana Lynn Patterson
