A three page story in the August 2007 edition of Landscape Superintendent and Maintenance Professional magazine features Elon University. The article, titled “Seeds of education under the oaks,” is by 2002 Elon alumnus Kevin Burrows, a regional editor for the publication. The story includes eight color photos of the Elon campus along with quotes from Tom Flood, superintendent of landscaping and grounds.
The story details Elon’s resources for maintaining its grounds, including 20 full-time employees and outstanding equipment.
