Invisible Children’s Walk-a-thon 2007 Oct. 20

 
Want to help build a school in Uganda and get service hours for it? Plus eat, play games/activities, and all the while help our own chapter of Invisible Children at Elon raise the most money for Schools for Schools in the nation?
 
Get a team together of 5-10 and register by Oct. 5th for the first annual Walk-a-thon!
 
What: A four-hour walk-a-thon to raise money and awareness for the Schools for Schools campaign for Elon’s chapter of Invisible Children.
Where & When: Track behind Rhodes Stadium from 5-9pm on October 20th.
Who: Team of five to ten people and as many “fans” as you can recruit.
How: Register by October 5th. Each team member’s registration fee is $12 per person (includes t-shirt). But each team can have as many fans as they can muster! Anyone not on a team gets in for $5.)
Why: Money raised builds a school in Uganda by Elon’s chapter. Why else? Food, games, music and tons of great prizes.
