The Division of Community Corrections, N.C. Department of Corrections, will conduct its Division II Management Meeting at Elon on Tuesday, September 18. Jeff Allen, Elon ’84 and the Chief Community Corrections Officer for Alamance County, along with Professor Betty Morgan, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, will host approximately 80 supervisors and line officers from the eastern Piedmont area of North Carolina.
The officers will hear presentations by state officials, as well as review reports about recent developments and trends in community corrections in the region and state. All activities will take place in the Yeager Recital Hall, The Center for the Arts from 8:30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
