“Cabaret” musical performance opens Oct. 25

Life is a Cabaret, old chum... Come to the Cabaret! The Department of Performing Arts is presenting Kander and Ebb's hit musical "Cabaret" in the McCrary Theatre starting Oct. 25 with two additional performances scheduled for Homecoming weekend.

Performances continue as follows:

Friday, Oct. 26 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 27 – 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 2 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 3 – 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 4 – 2 p.m.

Direction and Choreography by Lynne Kurdziel Formato, Musical Direction by April Hill, Scenic Design by Dale Becherer, Costume Design by Jack Smith, Lighting Design by William Webb — featuring 32 students in the cast, led by Steven Baker as the Emcee, Christina Caravella as Sally Bowles and Matthew Keffer as Clifford Bradshaw

The performance contains adult subject matter and situations. Discretion is advised.

Besides being a great piece of entertainment there is MUCH in this show that can lead to class  discussions in many arenas. Hope to see you there!
